Between the Visible and the Invisible
ENRIC AROMÍ-MASRIERA
Between the Visible and the Invisible
My work explores the uncertain territory where the human body meets nature, memory, symbolism, and transformation.
I work primarily with painting, drawing, collage, and mixed media to create figures that exist between reality and dream.
My images are inhabited by bodies that fragment, merge, disappear, or become intertwined with eggs, eggshells, flowers, shells, birds, fish, bees, ants, octopus, milk, honey, water...
These elements are not merely decorative. They function as symbols of identity, vulnerability, consciousness, instinct, and change.
I am interested in the body as a threshold: a visible surface through which invisible experiences become present. In my work, the human figure is never completely fixed. It is always becoming something else—something more fragile, more mysterious, or more deeply connected to the natural world.
