Enric Aromi Masriera (born in Catalonia in 1955) grew up in a family of artists and craftspeople. Aromi was always drawn to the arts; at just seven years old, he began studying drawing, painting, and music.

At the age of 14, he began working as a photographer.

Between 1971 and 1975, Enric collaborated with some of Spain's most prestigious painters and photographers.

By the age of 25, Aromi had already studied and worked across various artistic disciplines, including illustration, painting, architecture, furniture design, logo creation, advertising campaigns, radio programming and advertising, cinema, fashion design, and—the foundation of his inspiration—photography.

In 1977, he opened his first photography studio and began producing advertising and fashion work for renowned clients such as Paco Rabanne, Nina Ricci, Chanel, Max Factor, Revlon, Kodak, BMW, Chrysler, Mitsubishi, Pioneer, Bic, Bacardi, Coca-Cola, Nescafé, Danone, and Goodyear. He has collaborated with some of the world's leading advertising agencies—including Saatchi & Saatchi, Young & Rubicam, McCann Erickson, Lowe Lintas, and Ogilvy & Mather—working with top-tier models and actresses; his advertising campaign photographs have repeatedly won awards at the New York Advertising Festival, the Clio Awards, and the Cannes Advertising Festival.

An avid adventurer and athlete, he has participated in competitive sailing regattas and has also sailed solo across the Mediterranean. In 1999, thanks to a grant from the Fremont Foundation in Seattle, Enric and other prominent artists from Washington State (USA) salvaged and restored the *Kalakala*—an Art Deco-era vessel—in Kodiak, Alaska, eventually sailing it to Seattle. In 2005, Enric created "Cowlon," the largest cow ever made for the CowParade (small, unauthorized replicas can be found online, as the CowParade organizers infringed upon the copyright).

Since 2000, Enric has devoted his time entirely to his other two great passions: painting—exhibiting his work around the world—and writing. He is the author of five books: *On-i-On*, *L'abric*, *Paseo con paisaje*, *ON-Y-ON*, and *GOLDENHEADS* (in its Spanish translation).

His paintings have been successfully exhibited in galleries across the United States, France, Spain, Austria, China, Taiwan, and England, and are part of private collections worldwide (including in the United States, Spain, Venezuela, China, Greece, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Japan, France, Australia, and Sweden).
